The Trust USB SPYC@M just has to be the cheapest, smallest and lightest digital camera I have ever used.
With a resolution capability of 640 x 480 it offers anyone the opportunity to take low level digital photographs without breaking the bank.
It comes complete with image-processing software, allowing users to edit, store and send photographs as soon as they are taken.
Installation of the USB download facility was absolute simplicity.
I dropped the software CD into my CD drive and watched as the computer recognised the camera and installed every- thing in just a few minutes. It could not have been easier. This product is definitely suitable for technophobes.
Downloading images into user definable albums is easy too.
A simple mouse click and the pictures appear as thumbnail-sized photos that can be clicked on again to retrieve a full-sized picture.
Sadly, the overall image quality is not too exciting, although quite adequate for a quick reminder of the office Christmas party.
The Trust SpyC@m, (which weighs 100 grams including batteries) can hold an impressive 80 photographs or 20 images in high-resolution mode.
It fits neatly into a handbag, jacket or trouser pocket and is protected by an immediate in-store replacement guarantee which is valid for two years.
