Horsham fought out a goalless draw at Wingate & Finchley to condemn their hosts to certain relegation.
Horsham's best chance came after 26 minutes when Dave Odongo volleyed wide from ten yards after Martin Lempriere had carved out an opening.
Wingate's only effort on target came from Paul Hakin in the 53rd minute when Lee Preston saved well. Horsham nearly snatched victory when Gary Charman hit a post in the last minute from 18 yards.
