A driver was badly hurt in a crash on a
country road last night.
He was at the wheel of a Ford Focus in collision with a lorry on the A281 at Shaves Thatch, on the Newtimber-Henfield road at 11.30pm.
The Focus driver was taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital, Brighton, with serious injuries.
The lorry driver, from Romania, was treated for shock.
Names of the drivers are not being released by police, who operate data protection guidelines.
