As a carer, I visit some elderly people living in Brighton and Hove City Council's sheltered housing.

They are anxious about losing residential wardens and merely having drop-by staff instead.

Is it too much to let these elderly and/or infirm residents have the peace of mind which comes when there is a person always on site?

What does the council intend to do with the vacant flats which previous wardens lived in?
