A 17-year-old man has been arrested after reports of a man being bitten during a fight.
The teenager from Brighton was arrested shortly after police responded to reports of a fight involving four people in Rose Hill, Brighton at around 8.30pm last night.
Officers at the scene discovered a 20-year-old man with an injury to his ear lobe.
The teenager remains in custody for questioning.
DS Ariarna Brotherhood of Brighton and Hove CID said: "This was a nasty attack on a young man which has left him with a maimed ear lobe.
“We are pleased that the suspect was quickly arrested."
