Nationalists vow to come back to Brighton

Nationalists want to make their bank holiday march an annual event.
The England United march by the English Nationalist Alliance triggered a large counter-demonstration and a £200,000 police operation on Monday.
Organisers say they want to return for a St George’s Day march in April and again next August Bank Holiday.
ENA chairman Bill Baker said: “We will be back on April 23 for St George’s Day and we are going to make it a regular August Bank Holiday.”
About 50 nationalists, some with English Defence League banners, marched from Brighton station to Victoria Gardens and back under a heavy police escort on Monday.
Their steps were dogged by about 200 counter-demonstrators including Unite Against Fascism.

I think it's about time a way was found to charge these groups for the policing of these marches. Something needs to be done. It's not right that these bigots can just roam around the country, seemingly pick a town at random and saddle it with a huge bill for policing. Some comments on the weekend's article suggested we just leave them to it next time, and completely ignore the political posturing and ridiculous chants.

I can't believe how the English have fallen apart so badly in just 30 years.
These guys were probably once small, healthy, happy lads knocking a football about as I was and now they are either so bloated and unfit they can't walk properly with huge guts hanging out, or so ill-looking and dirty, you wonder if there are some serious mental health issues and they need some sort of psychiatric intervention.
It makes me sad that part of Britain has gone this way and they have no pride in their nation.
It doesn't take much to take pride in yourself.
The photos are a sad picture of poverty in 21st century Britain and the only time you see similar groups is in the poorest areas of Eastern Europe or some of the crime-ridden ghettos of southern Europe.
Maybe the fact they are in a very low socio-economic group is the real reason they have come together to march and why they are so angry.
