Firefighters rescused a man from a car that crashed into an electricity substation in Turners Hill Road, Crawley Down, at 10.30pm last night.
The man, who was trapped in his vehicle, was cut free by firemen who made the area safe.
He was taken to hospital iwth minor injuries.
