A fire broke out in a flat in Hove yesterday.
The flat in Ingram Crescent East, off Portland Road, set alight at about 9pm. The occupier was out at the time.
A Hove firefighter said: “We believe it started due to faulty heating. Luckily the occupier was out. There was extensive spoke damage especially in the kitchen.”
