A motorcyclist suffered serious injuries as he left a garage in Pevensey.
The 32-year-old St Leonards man was riding a Suzuki GSXR 600 K3 when he collided with a Volkswagen Polo at the entrance to Haven Garage on the A259 Wallsend Road at around 4.15pm yesterday.
The motorcyclist was taken to Eastbourne District General Hospital by ambulance where he underwent surgery.
The driver of the Volkswagen Polo, a 44-year-old man from Uckfield, was uninjured.
Kent and Sussex Air Ambulance also attended the scene.
