A woman who became Britain's youngest mother after becoming pregnant aged 12 has been evicted from her home, a council said today.
Amy Crowhurst, now 20, gave birth to baby Alfie in 2003 and had a second child, Destiny-Rose, in 2006.
She was evicted from her home in Crawley, West Sussex, on Monday after complaints from neighbours about loud music and drug-taking on the premises, a spokesman for Crawley Borough Council said.
He said the mother-of-two was evicted by her own landlord as she was a private tenant, but had benefitted from the council's rent deposit scheme.
Landlord David Bryant said Ms Crowhurst had moved into the three-bedroom house just over a year ago.
He told the Daily Star: "There were problems from the start. Something had to be done. It will probably take me about a month to get it back into shape."
