A charity that helped young people who are not in education or employment has folded.
Creating Futures, which described itself as “one of the largest charity organisations in Sussex with over 120 staff”, announced its sudden closure on Friday.
Shocked staff were told in an email from chief executive Graham Gordon “very sadly, you are redundant from today and are required to clear your desks”.
The news also came out of the blue for schools and colleges which used the organisation to provide schemes for 16 to 24-year-old NEETs (not in training, education or employment).
