Haywards Heath death crash victim named

A pedestrian killed in a road collision has been named.

Eugene Toner, 62, from Haywards Heath, died in a collision with a Ford Ka in Gravelye Lane, Lindfield, near Haywards Heath on Thursday.

The 17-year-old female driver, also from Haywards Heath, was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.

She has been bailed until March 23.

Anyone who witnessed the collision is asked to call 0845 60 70 999 quoting Operation Dunbury.
