An investigation is underway into electoral fraud in Sussex.
Sussex Police has received two reports of “double voting” in the East Worthing and Shoreham constituency at last year's General Election.
One has already been investigated and dropped because of a lack of evidence but the other, which was not reported until late last year, is still being investigated.
Nationally there were 232 cases of alleged malpractice at the election.
Conservative MP Tim Loughton, who successfully defended the seat last May, said the fact only two cases have been reported in Sussex shows the efficiency of the polling system.
