A TENNIS club in Southgate has been given the stamp of approval by a Government sports body.
Sport England awarded Conway Lawn Tennis Club, in Conway Road, the Clubmark standard of excellence after a series of rigorous assessments.
It follows an inspection by the Lawn Tennis Association, the sport's governing body, of the club's standards, including safety, the quality of coaching and opportunities to compete.
The club was founded in 1925.
