Two high-risk convicted child sex offenders have become the first twins to be put on a most-wanted list.

The Child Exploitation and Online Protection Centre (CEOP) is trying to track Kenneth and Thomas Parker, 56, who are both wanted for breaching the terms of the sex offenders’ register.

Kenneth Parker has been on the run since he disappeared from an East Sussex home in 2007.

He had been staying with a friend for five months in the area after he was released from prison.

Sussex Police said they would not give out the full address of the house.

Kenneth Parker had been jailed for indecent exposure and two counts of indecent assault to children under 16, who police said were known to him.

None of the offences took place in Sussex and a Sussex Police spokesman said there was “no evidence” to suggest he poses a threat to children in the county.

A CEOP spokesman said: "It should be noted that they have both demonstrated violent tendencies in the past."

The organisation does not know where either of the brothers is now but it is believed the pair could be together in mainland Europe.

They have connections to France, the Netherland and Portugal.

Thomas Parker is wanted for a recall to prison but the notification breaches mean they could both be jailed.

A Sussex Police spokesman: "This is the first time we have used the CEOP and Crimestoppers sites and we hope it will help find Kenneth Parker and his brother."

A CEOP spokesman said: "It should be noted that they have both demonstrated violent tendencies in the past."

Kenneth Parker is 5ft 8in, of medium build with short brown hair and has tattoos of a fish and wings from a Para regiment on his left arm, and a dragon and a panther on his right.

Thomas Parker is 6ft and slim. He has a scar by his left eye and also has tattoos on his arms including that of a Chinese carp, a naked woman, a swallow, a stallion's head and a wizard.
