The family of a soldier killed in Afghanistan have finally moved home, almost a year after their house was destroyed in a blaze.
Georgina Gamble and her sons Jason, 20, and Matthew, 26, returned this week and are now settling in.
Mrs Gamble's son, Private Daniel Gamble, was the 100th British soldier to be killed in Afghanistan when he died in June 2008.
The family has also brought back Pte Gamble's ashes, medals, regimental belt and Parachute Regiment beret, which were rescued by firefighters during the blaze last July.
Pte Gamble, 22, was his platoon's language specialist and had been speaking to a lone man when a device strapped to him exploded, killing two 19-year-old colleagues and injuring a fourth soldier.
The family had just marked the second anniversary of his death when a neighbour's shed in Piltdown Rise, Uckfield, caught fire and spread to their house.
