A woman has been jailed for three years after being found guilty of money laundering.
The investigation into Kelly Cooke, of Old School Place, Brighton, was linked to shamed Sussex Police officer Darren Graysmark, who in August last year was jailed for 18 months after he admitted money laundering nearly £81,000.
Yesterday at Maidstone Crown Court, Cooke, 32, was sentenced after being found guilty of five counts of laundering about £85,000 between 2003 and 2009. James John McCue, 66, of Highgate Court, Crawley, was also jailed for three years having previously been convicted of two counts of money laundering between 2003 and 2009.
He laundered £283,882 through his bank accounts, allowing the purchase of a £ 32,000 Mercedes car.
