There were lots of strange sights in the city this weekend, as Brighton Festival and Fringe performers took to the streets.
From a huge iron man to poetry performances inside a giant head, there was plenty to entertain the crowds.
Fringe City's Hit The Streets took place in New Road, Brighton, with a events run by programmers Zap Art.
Visitors were entertained by acrobats, musicians and strange walkabout encounters.
Hendrick's Horseless Carriage of Curiosities also arrived and there was the chance to see some clingfilm art.
Brighton Festival also staged some events at the old paddling pool site near the West Pier.
One of the main attractions was the 5m high iron man and there were also performances from Bad Taste Cru and Deaf Men Dancing.
