Series of fires started in Worthing woodland

Firefighters have been tackling several fires started in woodlands.

Fire crews from Worthing have been called out to four fires in woodland in around two hours from around 5.30pm this evening.

Small rubbish fires have been started near to Aldsworth Avenue, Goring, Hill Barn Golf Club, Worthing and twice to Honeysuckle Lane in Salvington, Worthing.

So far, firefighters say they have been able to extinguish the fires before they caused any damage.

Wow! More incendiary highlights from the fire service press officer! It's almost as if the Argus is been turned into a "Pyromaniacs Weekly" or one of those other ludicrous publications they have on 'Have I Got News for You'.
