Youngsters are celebrating an outstanding success.
The Salvation Army pre-school in Worthing was recently visited by Ofsted and inspectors gave it the top rating.
The pre-school, in Crescent Road, was set up as part of a community programme. It is now registered for 42 children.
Maria Ventura-Paul, the pre-school’s childcare co-ordinator and early years professional, said: “Our aim is to create an environment where all children feel safe and able to enjoy learning through play.
“We are so excited that Ofsted has recognised our achievement by awarding us with an outstanding grade. We have worked hard to improve our own skills through training, to improve the outcomes for children by supporting them to achieve their full potential and to listen to the children so they can have a say in their own learning.
However the most important part of this pre-school is the fun we all have.”
