Daleks and Sontarans rubbed shoulders with Darth Vader and stormtroopers at a celebration of all things sci-fi.
The second Strange New Worlds Weekender drew in fans of Doctor Who and Star Wars as well as Star Trek and a whole variety of other sci-fi shows, comics and fantasy.
The Doctor’s deadliest foes were just some of the characters many visitors dressed as, along with characters from other hit films, shows and cartoons.
The event at St Paul’s Church in Chapel Road, Worthing, drew in large crowds throughout Saturday and Sunday.
One of the biggest attractions was an appearance by David Prowse, who starred as Darth Vader in the original Star Wars trilogy.

The last time I saw him in person must have been about 30 years ago, when I watched him filming an advert for a bank in Kingston Upon Thames.
There are too many of his era who are not with us anymore.
