The public have been warned not to approach a man wanted for a £25,000 security van robbery in Worthing.

Paul Addison, 23, is also wanted for punching a man's teeth out during an unprovoked assault in Brighton, as well as numerous burglaries across Sussex.

Sussex Police is offering a £1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of Addison, from Halewood in Liverpool.

They want to speak to him regarding the robbery of a security van delivering cash at Sainsbury's, Lyons Farm, Worthing on March 8, in which £25,000 was taken.

He is also wanted over a serious assault on a 52-year-old man in Brighton on August 18, and conspiracy to commit burglaries at homes across Sussex in which high value cars were stolen between March and August this year.

Addison is described as white, 5'10", of stocky build with short dark brown hair which is sometimes shaved. He has a Merseyside accent.

Detective Constable Lindsey Van Buiten of the West Sussex Priority Crime Team said: "Paul Addison was in the Brighton area in August 2011 but his current whereabouts are unknown. Members of the public should not approach him but report sightings to Sussex Police on 0845 60 70 999 and quote serial 546 of 10th October. Information can also be given anonymously to independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555111"
