Blood spattered the pavements as the walking dead made their way through the streets for the annual zombie walk.
Thousands of people who were covered in gore and dripping in fake blood turned up for the fifth Beach of the Dead Zombie Walk in Brighton.
They could be heard moaning and groaning as they made their way from Vitcoria Gardens, up Church Road to Queen's Road, before heading along Queen's Road and West Street to make their way to Madeira Drive at 3pm today.
