Worthing teenager attacked by gang of men in street attack

A teenager was beaten around the head by a gang of men.

The 16-year-old victim was chased through the street by three men when walking in Broadwater Road, Worthing at just before noon on Tuesday.

The boy hid from his attackers in a garden in Beaumont Road for a few minutes before he was found by the men who set upon him.

The teenager was punched in the head several times during the attack which left the boy with cuts and bruises.

PC Sarah Masters said Sussex Police was still trying to establish a motive for the attack.
