Streaker banned from football grounds
7:00pm Thursday 5th January 2012 in News
A streaker who ran onto the pitch at the Amex has been banned from all football grounds for three years.
Craig Knight, 20, of Goldstone Villas, Hove, took off his clothes during an England under-19 match against Denmark at the American Express Community Stadium on November 10.
There were 16,000 supporters in the ground, including thousands of children on school trips.
Police said Brighton and Hove Albion had banned Knight from the Amex until 2021.
Knight admitted public nuisance by indecent exposure and invading the pitch at Brighton Magistrates’ Court yesterday (January 4).
He also admitted obstructing a police officer in Brighton on September 23.
As well as being banned from all grounds in England and Wales, he was sentenced to 12 months’ probation and told he must do 100 hours of unpaid work.

I think that's rather harsh. We all though him to be quite funny at the time.
Match tickets would be so much cheaper if security enforcement measures were not required - anti-social behaviour is called 'anti- social' for a reason.
