A supermarket was raided this morning.
Staff at the Co-Op in The Parade, Bognor, were left “shaken but uninjured” after two men, one armed with a weapon, entered the shop at 6.30am and demanded money.
They escaped with cash.
Police are still at the scene. A Sussex Police spokesman said: “There was a report of a robbery.
“Two males entered the shop and threatened staff. A weapon was used and cash was demanded.
“Staff were shaken but uninjured.”
At the time of going to press there was no information as to what weapon was used.
A spokeswoman from the Co-op said: “Everyone is all right.”
