Rail services from Brighton to Worthing are being disrupted after a train broke down.

There are currently few trains running west from Brighton after electrical supply problems caused a train to grind to a halt at Worthing.

Southern tickets are being accepted by Stagecoach buses on route 700 between Brighton and Littlehampton.

A rail replacement bus service is also operating between Brighton and Littlehampton.

Brighton Station is full of passengers, many of whom are trying to make their way home after the Brighton and Hove Albion home match at the American Express Community Stadium.

I expect the wrong sort of snow is falling and the train's electrical supply just couldn't cope.

Once again fantastic reporting Argus, so rather than a 'broken down train' its actually electrical supply problems! meaning the power is not reaching the train from the track.
