Please send your pictures dated and timed with geo tagging to prove its not a stock picture from some Southampton archive.

The snow and freezing temperatures across the UK give credence to the Green party's theories about global warming.

Er, hang on a minute...

I travelled from Hove to Brighton arriving home approx 20 minutes ago.
It was snowing, though not heavily, and certainly nothing to worry about (yet)

As we are not allowed to comment on the Pride Story, as everyone suspected, it lost even more money and it was all B/S about breaking even. END IT NOW!

In deepest Patcham it's been snowing for about one hour and there's a dusting on the road and pavement. No doubt the buses are already terminating at Preston Circus just in case they get snowed in at the top of Mackie Avenue.

What does concern me is that the snow is coming from the South East and it's usually worse from that direction than from the North.

About an inch of snow here in Patcham but it looks very wet and icy.

No clue from the bus company whether we will have any 5, 5A or 5B services as their website is still showing last night's info.

The website has been updated now. Basic 5B service to Asda, cutting out Braybon Ave & Surrenden Rd going via Preston Drove, London Rd and Carden Ave.
26/46 isn't even attempting Hollingbury, stopping at Fiveways and going back into Brighton via Preston Drove.
About 3 inches of snow in Hollingbury.

so now it has been clearly established that it was NOT snowing all over Brighton & Hove at the time of the report, please either reinstate my original post or acknowledge the existence of the post stating it was not "snowing heavily in .... and Brighton and Hove".
