A sex addict who says she has more than 1,000 notches on her bed post has revealed that she used to be a man.

Crystal Warren, from Brighton, has said how she found lovers through work.

Miss Warren, born Christopher Snowden, says she ran a snack bar and would have sex with customers.

The 42-year-old – who hit TV screens this week after claiming to have slept with more than 1,000 men – says she invited men to a cabin where she would bed them.

Miss Warren, who lives near The Level in Brighton, said: “I ran a catering franchise.

There was a little log cabin where I used to have sex with men, where I would sleep with men.”

She giggled: “I am a little tart.”

But Miss Warren – who did not tell any of the men she wooed she was born a male – said she was not ashamed of her actions.

She proudly said: “I am a woman. I do not feel ashamed. Why should I?

“So I didn’t tell men I was a not born a woman. Well there are things they probably did not tell me. They might not have told me about their wives or the fact they had children or been in prison.”

Miss Warren said that since revealing her past she had not received any negative feedback.

She said: “I expect there will be a lot of really cross men out there.

“I have not been out yet but I have changed my hair. I am expecting a lot of attention now.”

Miss Warren is offering support to people suffering gender identity issues, explaining how she fully changed sex in 2005 but began treatment in 2002.

She said: “When I first changed I would still call myself a transsexual but I have lost that tag now.

“I am a woman and it says so on my birth certificate.

“Do not be ashamed of anything.”
