Newhaven man arrested in connection with damage to neighbours' cars

An elderly man has been arrested for allegedly damaging the parked cars of his neighbours.

Sussex Police set up an operation in response to a series of complaints about parked cars being scratched in Hillcrest Road, Newhaven dating back over several years.

Tyrone Harrison, of Hillcrest Road, Newhaven, was arrested on December 2 following complaints from residents over many years in relation to cars being scratched.

The 61-year-old has been charged with criminal damage to ten vehicles and is due to appear at Eastbourne Magistrates' Court on 22 March.
