Farmers can win a gong for their eco-credentials.
The Royal Society for the Protection of Birds’ Nature of Farming Award is on offer to farmers who have done the most to encourage wildlife.
Bruce Fowkes, the charity’s farmland advisor in the South East, said: “Given the ongoing national decline in biodiversity, it’s critical that we support the people who face the dual challenge of delivering our food while acting as guardians of our countryside habitats and wildlife.”
Farmers can enter until April 20. The winner will be decided by public vote.
