Somebody somewhere needs to get a grip on the chaos that is B&H's roads. A prime example of blind stupidity - introduce parking bays along by the Black Lion but don't double yellow the rest of the road. Result - cars parking so close to the traffic islands that large vehicles have to crawl through the gap. Another example - put a traffic island in right near a bus stop so that when the bus stops, it blocks the road for all other traffic. Preston Road - put a bustop in opposite Wellend Villas but done inset it (can't do that might have to redirect the cycle lane). Lets stick it right in the road so......it blocks the main A23 northbound traffic flow. WHAT IS GOING ON?? We don't need roadworks mucking up the traffic flow, the council appear to be single handedly doing everything they can to stop cars using the towns roads.........oh, is that a policy? Me thinks it may be: 2lets make the road system so bad that we can introduce a congestion zone and charge for it. We will look like heroes because we'll be reducing the amount of traffic coming into the town".............ma
