A WOMAN was taken to hospital with serious injuries after a head-on crash in Wadhurst.
The accident happened on the B2099, Moseham Hill, on Saturday 11 February at around 3.20pm.
The injured woman was travelling north west in a silver Daihatsu, and had overtaken two cars prior to colliding with a green Land Rover Defender, coming in the opposite direction.
Five passengers in the Land Rover received minor injuries while the seriously injured 48-year-old local woman was taken to Kings College Hospital, London.
The drivers of a silver Rover and another green Land Rover Discovery, who were overtaken by the silver Daihatsu, were uninjured.
Police are appealing for witnesses to call 101 quoting Op Fuji.
