Trains between Hove and Worthing are delayed after a man was found trespassing on the tracks.
Power was turned off and trains came to a standstill at around 11.20 this morning when the man was spotted and quickly arrested by police.
A spokesman for Southern Rail said there were currently delays of around 20 minutes but said services should be running as normal by 1.30pm.
