Trains delayed between Hove and Worthing

Trains between Hove and Worthing are delayed after a man was found trespassing on the tracks.

Power was turned off and trains came to a standstill at around 11.20 this morning when the man was spotted and quickly arrested by police.

A spokesman for Southern Rail said there were currently delays of around 20 minutes but said services should be running as normal by 1.30pm.

This is ridiculous! Why, in this day and age, do we still persist in having trains between Hove and Worthing? What sort of world do we live in?!
