A distinctive yellow gold wedding band with “Byron 1974” is among gems which has been stolen from a home.
Sometime between Wednesday, February 1, and Wednesday, February 8, a house in Cowfold Road, Coolham, was broken into and jewellery was taken.
The haul included the ring, an engagement ring with sapphires and diamonds in a line along the top and a sapphire and diamond eternity ring also in yellow gold.
Detective Constable Laura Sinden said; "These items clearly have great sentimental value and the public and jewellers are being asked to keep an eye out for them and contact the police if they are seen or have any information about them.
"If you can help please contact us via 101 quoting serial 0722 of 11/02. You can also call independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
