Floral tributes left where Laurence Bickham died
Mourners have created a huge floral tribute at the scene of a fatal crash.
The friends and family of 20-year-old Laurence Bickham left dozens of bunches of flowers at the spot where he died in Ditchling Road, Brighton, last Tuesday.
Mr Bickham was involved in the accident with a bus near the Bat and Ball pub, opposite The Level.
He died at the scene.
His girlfriend, Jennifer Byrne, was seriously injured but was said to be in a stable condition by the end of the week.
One message among the bouquets read: “Laurence, you will be dearly missed.”
Another included a picture of the motorcycle enthusiast in his helmet with angel wings.
Anyone who saw the crash is asked to call Sussex Police on 101, quoting Operation Smallfield.
