Mystery woman helps photographer win international prize
A photographer is attempting to track down the subject of his award-winning picture.
Freelance photographer Clive Frost captured this stunning image of a woman surrounded by seagulls in Victoria Gardens, Brighton, last summer.
The picture has now won first place in an international photography competition and is currently being exhibited in California as part of the Month of Photography in the Los Angeles festival.
Now Mr Frost wants to track down the picture’s subject, who only gave him her first name of Laura when he took the snap, to tell her the good news.
He said: “I wanted to track her down as a courtesy. The only place I’ve ever seen her is in Victoria Gardens and every time I’ve driven past I’ve tried to look out for her but never seen her again.”
Anyone who might know Laura should contact Neil Vowles on 01273 544530 or email neil.vowles@theargus.co.uk.
