Brighton seafront hotel evacuated in fire

A seafront hotel was evacuated in a fire.

More than 30 fire fighters were called to the Holiday Inn in Kings Road at about 11.30pm last night.

Guests were evacuated from the smoke-logged 21-storey hotel after the fire broke out in an electrical intake room.

A spokeswoman for East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service said no one had been hurt.
