10:01am Friday 27th April 2012 in News By Emily Walker, Chief Reporter
Police are looking for a 30-year-old man who has gone missing from a psychiatric unit.
Sacha Stewart, also known as Alex, is a voluntary patient at a psychiatric unit in Goddards Green, where he was admitted on Sunday.
On Monday he left the unit at 3.30pm for an unescorted trip that was expected to last for not more than an hour. However, he did not return and has not been seen since.
He is white, 6ft tall, of slim build, clean shaven, with black hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a grey/black hooded leather jacket, green T-shirt, blue tracksuit bottoms and black trainers.
PC Mark Norman from Haywards Heath police said: "We are concerned about Sacha's whereabouts and welfare as he is particularly vulnerable. If you see him or think you have seen him, please call Sussex Police on 101 quoting serial 1476 of 23/04. If he is in need of medical attention or in danger, dial 999 immediately."
