I might be impressed if there was some decent competition, Poland? almost bankrupt Italy?
Regards your knob comment juventus FC is a business and while Italy may be in a dark place concerning it's economy it may be worth while pointing out that they have one of the largest fan bases in the world so in turn have a massive resources to build a new stadium and Poland has spent huge sums of money building and upgrading facilities for the upcoming euros probably 10 times albions budget for the amex. So I would say that this is a remarkable achievement and something that all in Sussex should be proud of to have on there doorstep. But i'm probably wasting my time expecting a neanderthal to appreciate that."

WORLD's BEST: The Amex has been named best new stadium in the world WORLD's BEST: The Amex has been named best new stadium in the world

Albion's home has been named as the best new sporting venue in the world.

The club’s £100 million American Express Community Stadium took home the prize at the stadium business awards held in Turin, Italy last night.

The club came out on top ahead of the new home of Italian football giants Juventus and the National Stadium in Poland, which will host the opening game of this year’s Euro 2012 championships.

Director Martin Perry said: “We were up against some very strong opposition so to win this award is a remarkable achievement and something we can all be extremely proud.”

The club were also nominated in three other categories including venue of the year, customer experience and a shortlisting for Martin Perry in the executive of the year category.
