• "The council is not Eco. It has one of the worst recycling rates in the uk. Cityclean won't even pick up bags of recycling next to the black boxes because it's not in their remit.
  Then there's the issue of clearing up the streets of dogs mess, abandoned vehicles, filthy caravans on roadsides in residential streets held up by bricks.

  I will formally object to this plan on planning grounds, however, my real reason is the above.

  There is fly posting, graffiti, dog mess, overflowing bins, student slum houses left unmanaged, furniture dumped on streets.
