Persistent Littlehampton criminal avoids jail sentence

A persistent offender has escaped jail despite pleading guilty to nineteen different charges.
Billy Robinson, of West Way, Wick and pleaded guilty to a range of charges including theft, handling stolen goods, fraud, public order and drugs offences committed in February and March this year.
The 18-year-old was given an eight-month suspended sentenced and he was banned from driving for 12 months and ordered to pay more than £1,300 in compensation and court costs after appearing at Worthing Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday May 22.

Perhaps the previous crimes were only directed at other poor people and are therefore far less serious. It's a good job this chap didn't bother someone important...otherwis
e he would be looking at serious jail time as well as the wrist slap.
