Hastings cyclist killed in dustbin lorry crash

A young cyclist has been killed following a crash with a dustbin lorry.
A Hastings man, believed to be in his 20s, collided with a refuse lorry just after 10.30am this morning in Haywood Way at the junction with Ivyhouse Lane, Hastings.
The man was believed to be riding with a friend when the collision happened close to the heavy goods vehicle testing station in Ivyhouse Lane, Hastings.
The cyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
Any witnesses to the incident should contact Sussex Police on 101.
