Young skateboarders go 13 miles pier-to-pier from Worthing to Brighton

FINISH: Louis and Lozz at the Palace Pier FINISH: Louis and Lozz at the Palace Pier

Two young skateboarders put their best feet forward to race between two piers.

Friends Louis Fitzgerald, 13, and Lozz Forman, 11, jumped on their boards to travel 13 miles between Worthing Pier and the Palace Pier. The boys wheeled the distance in two hours and 30 minutes and raised £400 towards their charity target of £1200 to go to Mombasa, Kenya, in October to teach and help in a school sponsored by Louis’ school, St Andrews CE High School for Boys in Worthing.

Unfortunately, Lozz lost his Ipod shuffle between Widewater Lagoon and Shoreham and is hoping readers can help him locate it.
