England will be crowned the winners of Euro 2012.

But that’s not the opinion of The Argus – that’s the opinion of Nicholas the llama.

The match-predicting creature has been at it again after he correctly revealed that Chelsea would win last month’s Champions League final.

Since that prediction, Nicholas shot to worldwide fame.

Linda Johnson is the owner of the Ashdown Llama Park, where Nicholas lives.

She said: “We’ve had so much attention at the llama park since Nicholas’ first set of predictions.

“We’ve even had a call from the Beijing Evening News. At this point nothing would surprise us – but I have to say his latest prediction did come as a bit of a shock.

“Here’s hoping that he’s right again and retains his 100% record.”

Bosses at the Llama Park decided to see if Nicholas could predict the result of the FA Cup final between Chelsea and Liverpool after they could not agree on the outcome.

He correctly predicted Chelsea would win and that the club would win the Champions League, leading to the Euro 2012 challenge.

To predict the results he approaches coloured balls on sticks to indicate his choice.

This time the balls represented the quarter final, semi-final and outright winner, rather than separate teams.

As well as predicting an overall win for England, he predicted the group stages too.

These indicated that England will beat France and Sweden, but will lose against Ukraine.

According to Ladbrokes, England are currently 10-1 to win the tournament.

Maybe that will change now that Nicholas has placed his bet.
