Hastings woman trapped in high-rise window

A woman had to be rescued by firefighters after becoming trapped in a high-rise window.

The resident became trapped in the window of her fifth floor flat in Cornwallis Gardens, Hastings at just after 4.45pm today.

Sussex Police and firefighters from Hastings fire station attended the emergency while a paramedic team were sent to the site as a precaution.

I suppose it's lucky she didn't wind up as one of the bodies that seem to have been raining down lately.
