High winds bring down tree down in Bognor road

Traffic was backed up along a busy road after high winds brought down a tree.
West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service received several calls reporting a tree partially blocking motorists in the A29 Lidsey Road in Woodgate north of Bognor at just before 4.15pm this afternoon.
West Sussex County Council highways team and Sussex Police have been informed about the incident while drivers travelling along the route are reporting delays.
