"Bomb" found on Worthing beach

An army bomb disposal unit is dealing with a possible explosive found on the beach in West Worthing today.

Police were called to the beach near the bottom of Grand Avenue at midday.

An army explosive ordnance disposal unit was called out. They were still believed to be working at 3.45pm.
