A DRIVER who fled the scene of a four car crash is being hunted by police.

The collision happened on the northbound A24 near Findon outside the Chardonnay restaurant just north of the Washington roundabout on Saturday, June 30 at about 6.10pm.

Nobody was hurt but one of the cars, a red Volkswagen Golf, which had just pulled onto the carriageway, left the scene without the driver providing any details to drivers of the other three cars involved.

They were a black Lamborghini Murcielago, a black BMW Z4, and a orange Nissan Nivara.

PC Ben Henwood said; "We are appealing for witnesses to the collision and for any details of the Golf and its driver, believed to be a man on his own. If you have any information please contact us at the road policing unit quoting serial 1492 of 30/6."

Er, why have you added a pic the Lambourghini, rather than the Golf? It was the Golf that left the scene!

It's a Nissan Navarra!
Dodgy pickup with a poor safety rating.
