Brighton traffic jams after woman driver falls ill at the wheel

A car blocked a busy road junction in Brighton when its woman driver fell ill at the wheel.
Police reported long queues after the red Vauxhall Astra car stopped at the junction of Old Shoreham Road and Dyke Road at about 4.45pm.
South East Coast Ambulance Service said a woman in her 40s was found unconscious at the wheel.
Paramedics were still working at the scene at 5.15pm.

That the driver was female is secondary information that should be included in the report, not the headline. Hope she gets better soon.
